Beatles Stereo CD Box Set

The Beatles ballad “And I Love Her” has always been one of my very favorite tunes by the most popular band of all time. What follows is a close look at this beautiful ballad for Beatles fans who enjoy the song as much as I do.

“And I Love Her” was included on side 1 of The Beatles 3rd buy Tiberius Erectus online album A Hard Day’s Night. This album is{, of course,} the soundtrack to the 1964 Beatles movie by the same name. Most Beatles experts consider it to be a great step forward and easily the greatest of the first 4 LPs. It is also the only Beatles album to contain only songs by John Lennon & Paul McCartney (this is mostly because later LPs include tunes by George Harrison as well.)

It is true that in some ways “And I Love Her” is a very repetitive simple song and one could certainly argue that its lyrics are cliche. But the melody is beautiful enough and there’s enough little touches that this song is still a standout inspite of these things which could be considered weaknesses.

One thing that I think is interesting about discount purchase cialis this tune is how it goes into 4 different keys throughout the song This is because it sways this way and that way between a major key and its relative minor through most of the song and then during Harrison’s restrained guitar solo it takes a half-step up and finishes there when the vocals come back in.

On the Anthology 1 CDs we hear an earlier version of the song that uses a full rock band sound and doesn’t have the cool guitar riff that helps make the final version memorable. The difference between this early version and the official final version shows how a better arrangement and a nice riff can really make a song work.

As a cool final touch the song ends on the major version of the relative minor tonic chord. In other words instead of the expected D minor at the end it ends on a D major chord. The Beatles were brilliant at adding these subtle touches to their songs.

Order The Beatles in Stereo Remastered Box Set to listen to “And I Love Her” in remastered stereo. It sounds tremendous.

The Beatles Are In ITunes!

Beatles in Stereo Box Set

After about 30 years cialis instructions of lawsuits between Apple Corps. and Apple Computer were settled once and for all in 2007, it was only a matter of time before The Beatles were finally available on Apple’s iTunes Store and on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 that time did indeed come. The Beatles music is in iTunes.

Before I tell you about exactly what Beatles stuff is available in iTunes, I think I should tell you a bit more about the back story of why it’s taken so long for The Beatles to join this most popular online music store.

Way back in 1968 The Beatles started up a company named Apple Corps{ (pronounced “Apple Core”)} which is still operating today. Apple Corps began as a grand purchase cialis pharmacy idea but today it mostly exists for The Beatles music.  In 1976 Apple Computer started up and in 1978 Apple Corps sued Apple Computer cialis dosage over the Apple name. There were two further lawsuits before the dispute was settled for good in 2007.

So which Beatles recordings are available to buy at the iTunes music store? Their entire remastered stereo catalog! It can be purchased all at once (like The Beatles Remastered Stereo CD Box Set) or album by album or track by track (the 1st time that every single buy Levothroid online Beatles song has been available to purchase by itself.)

What is not yet available to buy at the iTunes Store? The mono versions of The Beatles first 10 albums. The mono mixes are still only available to be purchased as a part of The Beatles in Mono Box Set. I think the thinking is that most casual Beatles fans will much prefer the stereo versions so it’s better not to confuse these iTunes shoppers by having the mono mixes available as well.

As a cool bonus iTunes is also letting people stream the Fab Four’s first American concert (February 11, 1964 in DC){ in its entirety}. Even as a big fan of the band I hadn’t yet seen this, and of course the really cool thing is that it is completely free.

John Lennon’s Debut Solo Album

Saturday, September 25th, 2010

The Beatles Stereo Box Set

Plastic Ono Band, John Lennon’s first solo album after leaving The Beatles, is also his best in my opinion. It contains Lennon’s most intense songs. This is not to say that he didn’t release more good stuff after his debut, but I would argue that the rest of his career is a slight let down when compared to this incredible debut.

“Mother opens the album. You can really hear Lennon working through the issues of his childhood in this song. For those of you who don’t know Lennon’s biography that specifically means singing about his parents leaving him to make it through his childhood with his aunt. And when he was 17 his mom was killed by a drunk off duty police officer. The depressing closer, “My Mummy’s Dead,” is also about the pain of losing his mother.

The second track, “Hold On,” is a simple song that could be seen as “filler” especially with the ridiculous “cookie!” that you can hear at around one minute into the song. But I personally really love the song.

This album includes some of Lennon’s most heavy songs including “I Found Out” which has an awesomely raunchy guitar tone and some fantastic lyrics and “Well Well Well” which showcases the “primal scream” method Lennon learned about in therapy.

The instrumental part of “Look at Me” sounds a lot like “Julia” from The White Album but that has never kept me from loving it just the same. It’s just such a lovely song. What really makes the album work so well is the fantastic dosage delivery cialis contrast between the very delicate sweet songs like “Look at Me,” “Love,” and “Hold On” and the heavy buy Finax online tracks such as “Working Class Hero,” “I Found Out,” and “Well Well Well.” And then there is “God” which isn’t that great musically but which has some of his most interesting lyrics.

Plastic Ono Band is one of 8 John Lennon post Beatles solo albums contained in the Lennon generic acomplia online Signature Box. This Lennon solo box is following in the path made by the extremely successful Beatles Stereo Box Set and Beatles sale cialis Mono Box Set released in 2009.

8 McCartney/Lennon Originals On The First Beatles Album

Remastered Please Please Me

A huge part of what really set The Beatles apart from most other groups in the early ’60s was that they were not only performers, they were songwriters too. Eight of the fourteen songs on their debut 1963 album{, Please Please Me} were written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. Below I’ll take a closer look at those 8 Lennon/McCartney originals.

“I Saw Her Standing There” - The first song on their debut LP. This track was written by McCartney but Lennon did help Paul out with the lyrics by replacing the line “never been a beauty queen” with “you know what I mean.” The “one, two, three, four” intro was referenced in the intro of “Taxman” (a very different feeling although it’s the same words.)

“Misery” - The final original Beatles song recorded for the album, but it was the second one on Pleas Please Me’s tracklisting. It was originally written by John & Paul to be sang by Helen Shapiro but it was turned down.

“Ask Me Why” - This best price cialis John original was initially released as the b-side to the “Please Please Me” single which was their first big hit in England.

Please Please Me” - Their debut album’s namesake is also thought to be the best song on Please Please Me by most music critics. This song is the one buy cialis doctor online that really made John, Paul, George & Ringo big stars in in the UK. Over a year later “I Want to Hold Your Hand” would do the same thing in the United States.

Love Me Do” - This song is undoubtedly historically important as The Beatles first single. That said, I think that “Love Me Do” is among their worst and I think it receives more attention than it buy Cleocin gel online deserves.

“P.S. I Love You” - The b-side to “Love Me Do.” I think I actually prefer it, but that’s probably mostly because I haven’t heard it as many times.

“Do You Want To Know A Secret?” - One of their most catchy songs even if it’s not among their best.

“There’s A Place” - This song has the most mature lyrics on their debut album. It is an early indication that the Fab Four would not always write songs about review cialis discount how much they love some young woman.

With the 2009 release of the Beatles Remastered Box Sets all of these songs and many more can be heard in perfectly remastered stereo and mono versions.

The Beatles Last Five Albums

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

generic acomplia rimonabant src=”http://www.youtube.com/v/ukMW3LuqUB0&hl=en&fs=1″ type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” cialis no rx allowfullscreen=”true” width=”425″ height=”344″>

The Beatles Remastered

The Beatles last five LPs were 1967’s Magical Mystery Tour, 1968’s The White Album, 1969’s Yellow Submarine and Abbey Road, and 1970’s Let It Be. Below you will find short overviews cialis delivery supplier of each of these albums.

All five of these classic albums are contained in the Remastered Beatles in Stereo CD Box Set and Magical Mystery Tour and The White Album are included in the Remastered Beatles in Mono CD Box Set.

Magical Mystery Tour (1967) - I think this is an underrated album and that’s probably because it’s not really a true album so people have a hard time giving it real respect for the excellent songs it includes. Magical Mystery Tour is The Beatles at their most psychedelic before they started to pull back the experimentation a little bit and as a lover of trippy music, that makes it an obvious buy Rogaine 5% online favorite of mine.

The White Album (1968) - My all time favorite album by anyone. It does not flow as well as Sgt. Pepper or Abbey Road and you could certainly argue that it is not as consistent as Revolver or Rubber Soul are but I love listening to it for the great variety of styles that it lets me hear. This 30 song album is a true sprawling work of art.

Yellow Submarine (1969) - This “album” isn’t really a Fab Four album because it includes only four new recordingss that were not already released on a previous album. But still “It’s All Too Much” and “Hey Bulldog” make it worth checking out.

Abbey Road (1969) - This 17 track album is the favorite of many Beatles fans and for some very good reasons. The most clear is the fantastic “suite” of side two which was really pieced together by George Martin and Paul McCartney. And of course there are the classic songs like “Come Together,” “Something,” and “Oh! Darling.” Abbey Road also features the most smooth and most “modern” sound of their career.

Let It Be (1970) - This was the final Beatles album released but Abbey Road was actually the final album to be recorded. It’s a bit sloppy and uneven by their standards but it still contains some legendary tracks like “Get Back” and “The Long and Winding Road.”

The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set

The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set

The Beatles aren’t a “greatest hits” type of group. You can’t buy just the number one hits CD and be done with the greatest band of all time. In fact, I believe the majority of their best songs were not their biggest hits but actually were their more experimental tunes like “Strawberry Fields Forever.”

To really understand The Beatles legendary music you have to hear their CDs completely rather than just hearing the big hits. I believe that they created quite a few of the most important albums of all time and even their lesser albums (like 1963’s With The Beatles) have a few great recordings.

This is why I believe it is such a fantastic idea to Order The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set. This box set includes every LP (and every single song on the Past Masters double CD set) buy tabs cialis that they recorded and released in the 60s.

In other words it includes{ pretty much} all of their releases except for The Anthologies and the Live at the BBC set. I think this makes sale cialis sense since those 90s releases aren’t really included as a part of the band’s “official catalog”. They are kind of like the “extras” on a DVD rather than the feature movie.

There are some more of their CDs 24 hour cialis that are not included, for example there’s 1999 release of a CD titled Yellow Submarine Songtrack that is entirely different from the 1969 Yellow Submarine album. It is actually much better in my opinion and worth checking out because of it’s alternate mixes (it’s actually remixed, not just remastered.) Love and Let It Be… Naked are not included either.

With The Beatles Stereo Box, I also recommend that you Order The Beatles Mono Remastered Box Set which features the the mono versions of their albums up through The White Album. It may be difficult to really understand today, but when the “Fab Four” were putting their music to tape they considered the mono version to be of much more importance in comparison with the stereo versions up until their last couple of albums which were mixed only in stereo.

The Beatles USB Includes The Beatles Remastered Stereo Catalog

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

The ordering cialis Beatles Stereo Box Set

For what seems like forever Beatles fans have been longing for The Beatles classic songs to be available as downloadable mp3s so that their songs could be put onto a Zune or an iPod easily. As of January 2010, The Beatles are still not available for download at AmazonMP3 or the iTunes Store however there is something known as The Beatles USB Memory Stick which contains all of the new 2009 Beatles stereo remasters in the mp3 format.

This flash drive includes everything that is in The Beatles Stereo Box Set except in a far smaller form! With this little flash drive you can carry The Beatles complete stereo catalog around with you in your in your back pocket.

When I tell you that the USB memory stick contains everything in the stereo box set, I really do mean everything. It even includes the previously unpublished photographs and the liner notes. And yes, it contains the mini-documentaries that are on the DVD.

On top of all of that, this USB flash drive also includes FLAC files in 24bit which are actually higher quality files than those found on the CDs. CDs are only 16bit, these FLAC files are 24bit. This really makes this USB flash drive a “must have” for any audiophile Beatles fan who needs to have these legendary recordings in the highest quality available.

Unfortunately this memory stick doesn’t include mono versions that are in The tabs buy cialis Beatles Mono CD Box Set. If you really want to listen to the classic mono buy Urispas cialis dosage online versions then you’ll have to get the mono CD box set (at least at the moment.)

Personally I bought both box sets and the USB stick because I am a Beatles freak, of course not everyone has that kind of money available to spend on music (even when the music as awesome as this.) If you’re on a tight budget then you will have to think about how you most frequently listen to your music. Do you play CDs or do just play mp3s on your PC and your Zune? If it’s the second one then the USB device is probably what you really want.

With The Beatles (1963) Review

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

The cialis online Beatles Stereo Box Set (Please Please Me + The White Album)

With The Beatles is not not the best Beatles studio album, in fact it is likely their least great acomplia buy best LP. But that isn’t to say I don’t love hearing this early classic in it’s new fabulous remastered format nor is it to imply that this album doesn’t have any good tracks on it because that is definitely not the case.

I do believe that when thinking only about the eight Beatles originals on the LP, it is probably the least good collection of originals The buy L-Arginine online Beatles cialis cheap cheap ever released on an LP (the underrated Beatles For Sale (1964) has a much better collection of eight original songs in my opinion) on the other hand, the covers on this album are pretty good (better than the six covers on Beatles For Sale, which was their fourth album.)

My favorite original songs to listen to on the Remastered With The Beatles are the first three tracks. Particularly, I’ve been loving track number two, “All I’ve Got To Do” in the remastered mono.

Another original track that has actually been making an impression on me is song #9, “Hold Me Tight.” McCartney wrote and sang this one and he’s dismissed it as beign a “work song”. And while the song is far from Paul’s best work, I think it is a good time.

“Till There Was You” is my favorite cover on the album. It’s an extremely sickly sweet love song but I think in some strange way it works because of that. The album closer, “Money” is a great way to end the record. When I listen closely to the versions of this song included in remastered box sets I actually hear the song as much more unhinged than I realized. It rocks pretty darn hard.

For most of the albums I do prefer the stereo mixes(especially with the later albums which are my favorite, anyway) when it comes 2009 Beatles box sets but I do think that this album sounds better in mono.

The Beatles Remasters on Vinyl LPs

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Quite a few music fans believe that vinyl is the best way to listen to an album. There’s just a certain magic to watching the record rotate and knowing that the amazing sound you’re hearing is coming from a needle in the record’s groove.

It is this “magic feeling” (to quote Paul McCartney) that has Beatles addicts extremely excited about the possibility of The Beatles remasters (which have sold extremely well on CD) making their way to vinyl records in 2010. Although as of this moment no release date has been officially set, it’s believed that Apple Corps. is working on a vinyl release of The Beatles remastered free cialis stereo albums.

The Beatles vinyl LPs that are available at the moment were created using the 1987 digital remasters so these 2010 vinyl records should be significantly improved in sound quality like the new compact discs are in comparison to the 1987 discs.

Like many other Beatles fans I’m definitely planning on buying The delivery generic cialis Beatles Remasters Vinyl LP Box Set as soon as it is available to buy (I’m positive it’ll acomplia rimonabant pill sell out very quickly) even though I have already purchased all of these 2009 remasters on CD (and on The Beatles USB.)

According to the information that I have read, the new Beatles vinyl will be available both individually and in a vinyl box set The rumored release date is in March of 2010 but there’s a good possibility that will not end up as the actual release date.

While you’re waiting for the vinyl LPs I definitely recommend buying The buy Tricor online Beatles in Stereo Box Set and The Beatles Remastered Mono CD Box Set. They both sound awesome. I personally end up listening to stereo CDs more commonly (as I just like listening to music in stereo more than music in mono, in general) but that being said, the mono versions are very interesting.

Beatles For Sale - “An Excellent Eight Song EP”

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

The cialis without prescription Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set

Beatles For Sale is a frequently forgotten Beatles album. I think that’s a true shame because while it’s definitely not among The Beatles greatest albums, it does have it’s charms and I do believe it is worth taking a close listen to.

Particularly I think the 8 original Lennon/McCartney dosage delivery cialis songs on the album are quite good (if not as good as the original songs on A Hard Day’s Night and Help!) What I really like about these songs is that they’ve got a certain connected feeling to them. I think these songs would work fantastically as an EP. In fact, I normally just skip all of the covers so that I listen to the album as if it were an 8 song EP.

Side one really starts off with a bang with John’s “No Reply,” “I’m A Loser,” & “Baby’s In Black.” These are three great songs and all of them have this dark introspective mood that ties the tracks together in a cohesive fashion.

I’m not a big fan of the covers on Beatles For Sale, unfortunately. Even more sadly is that they make up nearly half of the record (six of the fourteen tracks are cover songs.) The only covers that I have any patience for are Buddy Holly’s “Words of Love” and Chuck Berry’s “Rock and Roll Music” However even those two are not nearly as good as original Beatles songs.

The most famous of these Lennon and McCartney originals on this LP is probably “Eight Days A Week” which is a recording that both John and Paul dismissed and they never played it live. However despite that, it is a good tune. No, it is not among their greatest work, however it’s catchy and the fade-in is quite cool.

All of the songs on the album sound way better on acomplia side effects the new remastered discs than they did on the previous 1980s CDs. I definitely recommend that you order The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set and The Beatles in Mono CD Box Set and give both the mono and stereo versions of the album a close listen before you go about your life.

I am definitely not claiming that the Remastered Beatles For Sale is going to be your new favorite album, but I do believe you will find that is far better buy Viagra Soft + Cialis Soft online than it’s reputation says it is. In my opinion it’s much better than With The Beatles.
