Even those not interested in entertainment news will have seen or heard about the video footage of Kanye West gatecrashing the stage during the 2009 MTV video awards in the middle of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.
Now I’m no fan of Taylor (or the MTV video awards for that matter), but really - let the girl have her moment in the spotlight. Have we lost all respect and decorum as a society? Seems that way, just take a look at the lyrics that Kanye uses in his songs. Having already done that myself, and ruined my appetite for the day, I really don’t think it’s that out of character for him.
This leads me on to another point - why does pop music have to be so freakin’ lifeless? Most of the stuff in the charts is lacking in substance. Frankly, it’s all crap. I just can’t stand to listen to it anymore. It’s an unfortunate reflection on us when we are mostly aware of how shallow cialis online it all is, but we just accept it anyway.
